4.2.2. Closing of the Player Account by the User
The User has the possibility at any time to close his Player Account on the Site. The User will receive confirmation by email that his Player Account has been closed.
This closing is independent of the request for self-exclusion which can be submitted to the Gaming Commission. It is recommended that the User complete the self-exclusion form available on the website of the Gaming Commission. Like the Gaming Commission, the Operator supports and promotes Responsible Gaming. This is why we are convinced that self-exclusion must be requested at the central level of the Gaming Commission and not only at the level of a single operator. Exclusion forms can be found on the website of the Gaming Commission www.gamingcommission.be at the top left of the menu displayed by clicking on the “Player protection” tab, followed by “Prohibition of access” and by clicking on “Prohibition form”.
4.2.3. Consequences of cancellation of the Player Account
In the event of closing of a Player Account in accordance with article 4.2.1 of the Terms and Conditions, the Operator has a right of retention for the sums which appear on the Player Account in order to collect any administrative costs or damages for which the User is responsible.
Following cancellation, for any reason, the User agrees to:
- cease using the Services;
- destroy all documents in his possession, in his custody, under his authority or under its control.
The Parties will no longer have any obligations towards each other, except as otherwise provided in these Terms and Conditions, and subject to their rights and obligations expressly accepted before cancellation.
If the User's player account contains less than 50.00 €, he must ask the customer support unit for payment at the same time that he makes the request to close his account. If the User's player account contains more than 50.00 €, the User can make his payment request himself. In the event that the User has submitted a self-exclusion request to the Gaming Commission, he must contact the customer support unit, which will handle the payment request.
Article 5 – Origin of funds
The User declares and guarantees to the Operator that the funds used to play on the Site do not come from illegal sources.

The Operator agrees to remove references to third-party websites if the illegal nature of such sites has been brought to its attention, by any means and, notably, following a complaint made by email to the following address email@example.com

The User is responsible, among other things:
- for retaining, using and communicating his Connection Details;
- for the impossibility for him to access his account in case he forgets his Connection Details;
- for the content of messages he posts in chatrooms
In the event that the liability of the Operator is sought due to breach by the User of the obligations incumbent upon him in application of these Terms and Conditions, legal provisions and regulations in effect, the Operator may seek to be held harmless by the User.
Article 7 - Intellectual property

The User who wishes to send a request for information or lodge a complaint in connection with an online gaming site can contact the Gaming Commission, mentioning, at minimum, his last name, first name and date of birth, by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by the postal service to Commission des jeux de hasard, Bureau des renseignements Cantersteen 47, 1000 Bruxelles.
Each User can also request to transfer any complaint to the Gaming Commission. The Gaming Commission may also request to receive the complaint. The settlement of complaints under this article 13.4 is always available to the User.
13.5. Applicable law and competent courts
Unless there is an imperative provision of the legislation of the country in which the User has his habitual residence, execution and interpretation of these terms and conditions as well as the relations between the parties are subject to Belgian law.
In the event of a dispute between the Operator and the User and in the event of inability to resolve this dispute amicably within 14 days after notification of it by one of the Parties, Belgian courts and tribunals shall be solely competent to rule on any dispute concerning application or interpretation of these Terms and Conditions.
Article 14 - Free contests offered by the Operator
The Operator reserves the right to organize one or more contests reserved for Users and agrees to comply with the mandatory provisions applicable in the country of residence of the participant in these contests, intended to offer prizes to Users participating in them.
Each contest will be subject to specific rules (below: “The Rules”), filed with a huissier (bailiff) and accessible free-of-charge on the Site.
The conditions for participation in the contest, including the date of opening and closing, the nature and value of the prizes to be won, and the rules for awarding prizes to the User, will be specified in detail in the Rules and set on a case-by-case basis by the Operator.
Article 15 - Tournaments and satellite tournaments
To participate in a tournament and/or a satellite tournament in a casino, the User must be at least 21 years old and must have authorization to participate in tournament games. For this purpose, he must provide a valid document attesting that he is at least 21 years old (official identification card).
It is the User's responsibility to ensure that he has reached the legal age required to participate in each satellite tournament and/or tournament.
By participating in a satellite tournament and/or a tournament, the User grants the right to the Operator to use his pseudonym for promotional activities, without additional remuneration.
Before the satellite tournament and/or tournament, the Operator will send one or more articles (T-shirt, caps, etc.) to the User, free-of-charge, bearing the goldenpalace.be logo, which the User must wear during the satellite tournament and/or tournament.
The User may be required, if necessary, to sign an agreement before participating in an event. This agreement may include approval for being filmed during participation in the event and authorization to broadcast the film. If the User does not sign this agreement, he will not be authorized to participate in the event and his participation will be cancelled, without him being able to claim reimbursement of the participation fees.
During a satellite tournament and/or tournament, the behaviour of players is governed by strict rules. Failure to comply with these rules may result in serious sanctions, such as disqualification for foul language, insults made against the croupiers, the players or any other person during the event, or for any other conduct that the organizer of the event, in its sole discretion, considers to be detrimental to smooth running of the event.
If the User is penalized or disqualified due to non-compliance with one of these rules, the Operator declines any responsibility concerning his participation, and his participation in the event risks being cancelled.
